Upper Sacramento

The Upper Sacramento River flows about 40 scenic miles from the dam at Lake Siskiyou, down to it’s river mouth at Lake Shasta. The Upper Sac is a freestone gem heavily populated with beautiful, wild rainbow trout. Great pocket water, riffles, pools, and runs abound on the Upper Sac.

This is a very wade-friendly river with tons of great access. Consistent hatches, and a wide variety of insect life, allow us to fish a lot of methods very effectively. The dry fly fishing can be fantastic!
